Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept medical aid?

Yes. I am contracted with various medical schemes. I recommend checking directly with your medical aid provider regarding your specific mental health benefits and coverage.

How often will we meet?

Individual therapy sessions are typically held once weekly. Weekly sessions allow for consistency, depth, and continuity within the therapeutic process. The frequency of sessions can be reviewed and adjusted over time depending on your needs and circumstances.

What are your practice hours?

Monday to Friday

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Do you work with couples or children?

No. My practice focuses exclusively on individual psychotherapy for adults aged 20 years and older.

How will I know whether you are the right therapist for me?

The therapeutic relationship is an important part of the therapy process, so it is completely appropriate to think carefully about fit.

Practical considerations such as availability and scheduling matter, but so do more personal aspects; whether you feel comfortable, understood, and able to connect within the therapeutic space. Sometimes this becomes clearer only after meeting and experiencing the process together. The first few sessions can help you determine whether the space feels right for you, and we can openly discuss any questions, uncertainties, or concerns that arise along the way.

Where is your practice located?

My practice is fully online-based.
